On the Arlberg that is not a formality. Access to Oberlech is restricted in winter and many properties arrange the last stretch themselves, by tunnel or cable car. Narrow village centres have temporary no-stopping zones, and fresh snow changes access at short notice.
That is why we ask for the exact name and address of your accommodation when booking — not just the village.
Where we stop
In St. Anton, Zürs, St. Christoph, Stuben, Pettneu and the valleys we normally drive right up to the property.
In Oberlech and Zug we agree the handover point in advance: either as far as vehicles are allowed, or to the point where your property takes over the luggage.
Luggage
Tell us the number of suitcases and sports items. In the mountains an undersized vehicle is not a cosmetic problem: skis do not fit every boot, and nobody drives a snowy pass with the tailgate half open.
Arrival
We collect you at the airport or the station and take you to your accommodation. For train arrivals at Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton the drive is short and we work to the train time.
Departure
For the return, the rule in winter is to leave earlier. Time lost on a cleared but winding mountain road is not made up on the motorway.
Trips during your stay
If you need a ride while you are here — a restaurant, the next village, a different ski area — book it as a separate trip. Price and timing are then fixed in advance as well.
