About Ischgl / Galtur / Kappl
Ischgl lies at roughly 1,380 metres in the Paznaun valley, with Kappl further down the valley and Galtür at its head. All three are reached by the same road from Landeck.
The winter season runs from about December into early May. Saturdays are the busiest arrival days, and on a single valley road that means noticeably more traffic, so we set off earlier on those days.
