Sölden, Obergurgl and the Ötztal are about 257 kilometres from Munich Airport; the drive takes roughly three and a half hours. We run the route all year at an agreed fixed price.

The approach follows the Inn valley to Ötztal-Bahnhof and then climbs the Ötztal valley road. The valley is long: from the motorway to Sölden takes almost another hour, and to Obergurgl longer still.

Winter tyres are standard in the cold season and snow chains travel with the car. The vignette and tolls are included in the price.

About Solden / Obergurgl / Otztal

Sölden sits at roughly 1,370 metres, with Obergurgl considerably higher at the head of the valley. The Ötztal valley road is the only through route; the Timmelsjoch pass to the south is closed in winter.

On Saturdays the valley is noticeably busier, because nearly all accommodation changes over that day. We then leave the airport earlier so your arrival time still holds.

Transfer Details

Meet and greet with a name sign in the arrivals hall in Munich, with a free waiting allowance after landing.

Please state luggage and sports equipment when booking. For early departures we set the winter pickup considerably earlier, because the valley road takes longer in snow.
