St. Anton am Arlberg is about 234 kilometres from Munich Airport. Under normal conditions the drive takes around three hours. We cover this route all year round, at any hour, for a price agreed in advance.

The route runs on the motorway towards Kufstein, through the Inn valley to Landeck, and then up the S16 Arlberg expressway into the Stanzertal. The final stretch is a mountain road: cleared and gritted in winter, but narrower and slower than the motorway. We build that into the pickup time so a snowy road does not turn into a rushed drive.

In winter every vehicle runs on winter tyres and carries snow chains. Austrian road tolls and the Arlberg tunnel fee are included in the price; nothing extra is collected on the way.

Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. If your flight is delayed, we move the pickup, provided we have the flight number.

About St. Anton am Arlberg

St. Anton am Arlberg sits at roughly 1,300 metres in the Tyrolean Stanzertal, on the eastern side of the Arlberg. The village is connected to the motorway network by the S16 and is also a stop on the Arlberg railway line.

The Arlberg road tunnel leads from here to the Vorarlberg side in a few minutes, towards Langen and Klösterle. The pass road climbs to St. Christoph and continues towards the Flexen pass, which is the link to Zürs and Lech.

The main winter season runs from December to April; in summer the village is reached for hiking and cycling. In both seasons Saturday is the busiest arrival day, because most accommodation is let by the week. We recommend booking those days early.

Transfer Details

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal at Munich Airport with a name sign. After landing you have a free waiting allowance, so baggage claim and ski collection are not a race.

For skis, snowboards and board bags we plan the vehicle accordingly: please state the number of bags and sports items when booking. Child seats and infant carriers are provided free of charge on request.

A short stop at a service area on the way is normal; just tell your driver. For the return we set the pickup time against your departure and allow for the mountain section in winter conditions.
