St. Christoph sits at roughly 1,800 metres right at the top of the Arlberg pass; Rauz is at the junction with the Flexen road. From here the road drops towards St. Anton on one side and runs towards Stuben and on to Zürs on the other.
Being at the top of the pass means weather changes quickly, and in heavy snow the pass road is the first stretch that has to be cleared. We check its status before departure.
